Acoustic Blankets & Rolls: Quilted Fiberglass

Quilted Fiberglass Absorbers reduce the reflection of sound waves by adding soft, porous, open-celled materials to any environment. IES – 2000’s Quilted Fiberglass products consists of various configurations of facing and fiberglass thicknesses to provide solutions to a plethora of applications. Wall panels and overhead baffles are constructed with all edges bound and grommets across the top. Rolls are available 4’ wide x 25’ long and can be supplied with edges bound or unbound. Applications: Typically used when you are trying to reduce the reflection of sound waves or reverberant noise energy within a piece of equipment, a room, or a building. Also used to supplement plywood structures on job sites to improve the transmission loss of the wood as well as to reduce reflected noise on the construction side. Download Product Brochure

Acoustic Curtains – ABA

The ABA “Barrier septum Composite” is a non-reinforced loaded vinyl noise barrier sandwiched between two layers of fiberglass. A variety of facings are available including our standard industrial grade vinyl facing, an economy scrim facing and a silicone facing for high temperature or outdoor applications. Curtain panels are typically constructed with grommets across the top and mating hook and loop closures on the vertical edges.

Industrial & Flexible Barriers

Rolls measuring 4′ x 25′ are available with edges bound or unbound. All products have a Class A flammability rating (per ASTM E-84 ). Use as a divider wall when separating two noisy areas that require absorption. Use to line the perimeter of a building Use anywhere a decoupler/barrier/absorber is required. Vinyl facings are available in white, tan, black, or gray Diamond patterns or straight stitch patterns are available. PDF Spec Sheets: ABA-111SABA-111ABA-112ABA-121 “ABA” composite features a non-reinforced loaded vinyl noise barrier septum (middle) with a quilted fiberglass sound absorber on BOTH sides. Ideally suited as an acoustical liner, the inner layer of quilted fiberglass decouples the barrier form the surface to improve its noise blocking ability while the outer layer adds sound absorption to the treated environment. Composites offer maximum noise reduction on any application by combining sound absorption and noise barrier materials. These composites are available in a barrier backed or barrier septum configuration utilizing a variety of quilted fiberglass absorbers and flexible noise barriers. Sound Absorption/Noise Barrier Composites are supplied as roll goods, finished panels, enclosure systems, acoustical jackets and die-cut pieces.
