Foam:
Foam is ideal for controlling noise
at its source. When used to line
compartments, machine enclosures or
air vents, these foam panels help
reduce the high noise levels by
absorbing the sound energy around
and within the space. Foam panels
can be adhered to a partition or
wall facing the noise source to
lessen the reverberation and sound
reflections. The Hypalon®-coated,
Foam sculpted surface is resistant
to water, oils, and solvents. Foam
is a great noise reduction solution
for applications such as: boilers,
pumps, compressors, HVAC equipment,
generators, routers, and saws.
Wedges:
Wedges provide low to high frequency
sound absorption for applications
such as test cells and anechoic
chambers. The dramatic wedge shape
greatly increases surface area for
exceptional acoustical performance.
Wedges install seamlessly for a
continuous panel look. Wedges are
available in Class 1 fire-rate
willtec, or polyurethane for
applications that do not require low
flammability.
Anechoic
Environments:
Laboratories and engineering test
cells often require a sound
environment that is completely free
of reverberation throughout the
audible frequency spectrum from low
frequency to high frequency. This
environment allows measurement or
radiated sound power and
directivity. Wedges, cut in a
variety of sizes and shapes, are
effective materials for use in
anechoic chambers. The open-cell
form absorbs the kinetic energy
created by sound waves. At the same
time, the large surface formed by
wedges increases the total
absorptive area to absorb even the
long wavelength of low frequency
sound.
SONEX®
Panels, Baffles and Curtains are
just a sample of choices that reduce
overall noise and control
reverberation in factories,
processing plants and other
industrial settings by trapping and
dissipating sound waves. SONEX
Noise Buster® ENC Earmuff is one of
our latest additions to helping
improve worker safety. Most of our
industrial noise control products
are made from Class 1 fire-rated
materials, which meets ASTM E84
standards for flammability and smoke
density.
Illbruck Foam is ideal for
controlling noise at its source.
When used to line compartments,
machine enclosures or airvents,
these foam panels help reduce the
high noise levels by absorbing the
sound energy around and within the
space. Illbruck Foam panels can be
adhered to a partition or wall
facing the noise source to lessen
the reverberation and sound
reflections. The Hypalon®-coated,
SONEX® Mini sculpted surface is
resistant to water, oils, and
solvents.
Illbruck Foam is a great noise
reduction solution for applications
such as : boilers, pumps,
compressors, HVAC equipment,
generators, routers, and saws.
SONEXone Panels are a versatile
product, offering effective acoustic
control in a variety of applications
and environments including
industrial facilities, multipurpose
rooms and architectural projects.
SONEXone panels are attractive and
reliable, featuring Noise Reduction
Coefficient (NRC) ranging from 0.85
to 1.10. The sculpted surface
of each panel deflects and disperses
sound waves, allowing
the open-cell willtec® foam to
convert sound energy into quiet,
kinetic energy. Pinta’s
exclusive willtec foam is Class 1
fire-rated according to ASTM E 84
for flame spread and smoke density.
willtec natural meets the corner
burn test UL 1715.
SONEXone Panels are available in
natural, painted or Hypalon®-coated
finishes. Our exclusive
Hypalon formulation protects the
foam from dust and dirt and makes it
possible to wipe panels clean using
only a damp cloth. SONEXone
Panels are easy to install on any
wall and/or ceiling surface with
pinta’s acouSTIC™ water-based
adhesive. The panels can also be
used in conjunction with SONEXone
Baffles, which have the same pattern
but are designed to hang from
ceilings in large rooms or open
interior spaces.

Composite Foam
Acousti-Composite is a noise control
material specifically designed to
achieve maximum attenuation over a
broad frequency range. Acousti-Composite
combines dense, limp, flexible,
non-lead loaded barriers with
Acousti-Foams providing a total
noise control system. Unlike other
composites available, these
multilayer systems are manufactured
without costly adhesives, thus
eliminating the potential for
failure between layers... <MORE> |

Melamine Foam
Melamine
is a lightweight, high temperature
resistant, open cell foam manufactured
from melamine resin. It combines
excellent thermal properties with
superior sound absorption capabilities
to create a versatile fiber free product
which can be applied in situations which
may prohibit the use of urethane foams
or fiberglass insulations. This fire
retardant foam meets the flame spread,
smoke density and fuel contribution
requirements... <MORE> |

Polyurethane Foam
Acousti-Foam acoustical foams are
designed to provide maximum
absorption of airborne sound with
minimum thickness and weight. These
flexible polyurethane open cell foam
products are manufactured to
optimize pore size, air flow
resistance, and density. Sound
energy, passing through the cell
structure, is converted into minute
quantities of low grade heat that is
easily dissipated... <MORE>
